Surf Camp is open to campers ages 6 through 17. We group kids by age and skill level, so everyone surfs with peers at a similar stage. Kids as young as 6 do wonderfully — the Jupiter sandbar's gentle, consistent waves are ideal for young learners.

Yes — campers should be comfortable in the water and able to swim. They don't need to be competitive swimmers, but they should be able to tread water and swim a short distance independently. We teach at the waist-deep sandbar where standing is always possible.

Swimsuit under board shorts or rash guard, reef-safe sunscreen (we'll apply more at camp), water bottle, beach towel, and a snack. All surf equipment (board + rash guard) is provided. No need to bring a surfboard!

Full refund for cancellations made 14 or more days before the camp week starts. 50% refund for cancellations 7–13 days before. Unfortunately we cannot issue refunds for cancellations less than 7 days prior, but we can apply your balance to a future week. If we cancel a day due to severe weather (rare!), you'll receive a makeup day or credit.

Jupiter Inlet's sandbar is one of the most consistent surf spots in South Florida, so flat days are rare during summer. On smaller days, we focus on paddling technique, pop-up drills, and ocean skills. Kids still have a blast and make great progress. Truly flat days (0 waves) are exceptionally rare.

Absolutely! Many parents love watching from the beach — Jupiter Beach Park is beautiful and parking is free. We do recommend that parents avoid coming into the water during instruction time, as kids tend to perform better and stay focused when parents watch from the shore.

Yes! Register for 3 or more consecutive weeks and receive $25 off each additional week. There's also an early bird discount of $30/week when you register before April 15, 2026. Both discounts can be combined!
